Incorporated in Western Australia, Access Technologies is an international collective of product development engineers, designers, and technicians with a combined 250 man-years of experience in the design, development, and manufacture of engineered, electro-mechanical products. We have overseen the development and commercialisation of products that have won the Engineers Australia — Engineering Excellence Award on two occasions, along with several other awards — indicating the high level of product commercialisation expertise within the group.
Principal staff of Access Technologies also provide lecturing and mentoring services to a number of educational institutions and private firms. We have significant experience in mentoring and coaching customers to market on a wide range of product types. Access Technologies draws resources from Australia and many other locations in the Asian region that are able to meet the pricing and quality requirements of our customers (predominantly Australian small businesses in the manufacturing sector). The current resources boom has made it difficult to obtain product design resources and manufacturing services at a suitable price, and with a reasonable lead time. We have a core competency in sourcing product design and manufacturing resources at a suitable (budgeted) price, quality level, and fast lead time. When outsourcing services we ensure that Australian quality standards are either met, or in most cases exceeded.
