Designed to conform to the requirements of AS/NZS 3845:1999 (Road Safety Barrier Systems), the Safety-Stop™ Bollard represents a breakthrough in energy absorbing bollard design.

The Safety-Stop™ bollard uses automotive crumple-zone technology to safely arrest the motion of a family sedan travelling at up to 60 Km/h, thereby protecting pedestrians—as well as the occupants of the vehicle. In the event of a vehicle impact, a replaceable element is refitted to quickly restore the unit to full operation at low cost.

The Safety-Stop™ bollard is ideal for offering protection around alfresco dining areas, transit stations, school crossings, footpaths - and anywhere that pedestrians need to be protected from the risk of vehicle impact.
